Installation Contractor Training Programs

Lightly Treading has been working with utilities who are sponsoring energy efficiency programs to help train installation contractors to best practice installation standards. We have currently worked to train contractors working with Xcel Energy's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program as well as the City of Fort Collins Utilities Home Efficiency Program.

Training and Mentoring Schedule Calendar

LT is training installation contractors on the Utility's best practice installation standards. We are offering trainings in standards for:

Insulation and Air Sealing
Windows
HVAC

Classroom trainings, on the job mentoring, and ongoing QA/QC is completed by LT in this program.

Contractors, please visit the calendar linked here that has ongoing mentoring dates and classroom training dates. A two week notification for mentoring dates is needed to ensure spots will remain reserved. If you contact LT closer than two weeks before the mentor date we will try to accommodate requests for mentoring but cannot make any guarantees.
