Home Performance with ENERGY STAR^Ž

**** NOTICE: Xcel Energy has revised their Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program. New program rules will be taking affect as of January 1, 2012. Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a cutting edge national program from the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE with the objective of using the whole-house-as-a-system approach to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home as well as to reduce its environmental footprint. The program works to not only diagnose the home but make the necessary improvements as well.

Home Performance in 4 steps*:

STEP 1: Have a Qualifying Home Energy Audit.
Call Lightly Treading to schedule your audit today.
STEP 2: Sign up for Home Performance with ENERGY STAR.

STEP 3: Choose a Participating Installation Contractor and Make Improvements.

A participating contractor list will be included in your audit report. You must use a contractor from this list.

STEP 4: Submit Your Rebate Application

Your contractor should perform a test out of your home and complete a rebate application to be submitted to Xcel Energy.

If you would like a neutral third party to inspect the improvement work Lightly Treading is available. We can inspect the work completed compared to your contractor's scope of work, giving you the peace of mind that you received the quality of work expected. Call for pricing information.
